Sathya Raj; well known south Indian film actor who acted
predominantly in villainous and lead roles in Tamil Films. He also played lead
roles in Telugu and Kannada films. Alongside, he is a popular media personality
who addressed several public issues.
Sathya Raj received many awards from various sources:
- Kalaimamani Award
- 1991 – M.G.R Award from the Tamil Nadu Govt.
- 1987 – Film fare Best Actor Award for Vedham Pudhithu
- 2007 – Periyar Award for his role in the film Periyar
- 2007 – Honorary Doctorate from Sathyabama University.
